- The calendar is the single source of truth, visible on any phone in the shop. A slot booked online disappears immediately, so nobody offers it to the person who just walked in.
- The waitlist fills cancellations
- A cancellation an hour before is offered to clients who wanted that time, in order. In a shop running short appointments back to back, that is the difference between a quiet Tuesday and a full one.
